About me…

I was born and raised in Guatemala, and at 18, I made the leap to Spain to pursue my Bachelor's in Design in Madrid. I had always had a strong passion for creative pursuits, seeking a path that would enable me to craft elegant solutions for complex challenges. This pursuit led me to IE University, where I spent two years at the Segovia campus followed by two more in Madrid. Immersed in the world of design, I discovered its myriad branches—from strategy and research to service, product, and branding—all with a singular focus on understanding and meeting user needs.

Building on my foundation as a visual designer, I had the opportunity to shape the visual identity of a B2C company, extending it seamlessly into both digital and physical realms. This experience ignited a newfound passion for interaction design, where I uncovered my true calling in product design. It was here that I delved into the intricacies of crafting digital products, immersing myself in the end-to-end design process.

  • Conducted user research to inform design decisions and enhance overall user satisfaction.

  • Created user flows, wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts and iterate based on feedback.

  • Collaborated in identity projects developing excersises such as visual audit, creative conceptualization, and guidelines elaboration.

  • Conceptualized and executed visual narratives while showcasing a deep understanding of storytelling principles and visual communication techniques.

  • Reflected the brand’s guidelines through production, print and digital media.

Service & System design consultant with Renfe + ie university

Jan 2022-May 2023

  • Developed a trend report in order to identity key opportunities and patterns.

  • Performed desk & field research in order to identify our users, their journeys, and pain points.

  • Lead a co-creation workshop with the client Renfe, consisting on problem defining, Importance & Impact evaluation.

  • Developed a prototype for a chatbot, which would facilitate the decision-making in the buying & exchange period of the user.
